There are no stupid questions!

– Bitpanda's social-forward AMA campaign

 

Money and finance can be intimidating topics, often shrouded in secrecy and embarrassment. Many individuals hesitate to ask questions about personal finance due to the fear of being ridiculed or judged. However, what may seem like simple and silly questions can actually be quite complex.

The goal of this campaign was to break down these shame barriers and empower individuals by providing them with knowledge and trust - not only into the company, but most importantly in themselves.

This campaign wants to create an environment where everyone feels comfortable asking any financial question, no matter how weird, awkward, obvious, or "stupid" they may think it is.

Connecting with the Audience

In the first phase of our campaign, we captivated the audience with a fast-paced and engaging video.

This video served as an introduction to the campaign, highlighting the importance of asking financial questions and breaking the silence surrounding them.

Through visually appealing content and a compelling narrative, we aimed to grab the attention of viewers and encourage them to participate in the campaign.

 

Ask us anything

The second phase of our campaign followed up with regular question posts. These posts were divided into two categories: questions coming from Bitpanda and questions from the community. Each category had a distinctively different design to ensure clarity and ease of understanding.

The design always featured the question first, with a short video or GIF as a background which aims to lighten the mood, reflecting the combination of fun, expertise and knowledge within the company. These posts covered various financial topics, providing valuable insights and guidance to the audience.

By showcasing user-generated questions, the aim was to foster a sense of community and encourage others to come forward with their own inquiries.

Streamlining Social Media Posts

To streamline the process of creating social media posts, I implemented a scalable online templating solution.

This solution empowered our social media team to create their own posts without relying on the creative team for assets.

By providing customizable templates, every stakeholder saved time and effort, allowing the creative team to focus on other important projects.

This technical aspect not only enhanced efficiency but also ensured consistent branding across languages and social media platforms. It enabled us to deliver visually appealing and informative posts regularly, keeping the campaign active and engaging for our audience.
